Public Hearing - January 3, 2012

The Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the evening of January 3, 2012 to accept comment on the renewal and amendment of Interim Ordinance No. 13030.

The Board moved to adopt an ordinance to amend and extend Interim Ordinance 13030 for an additional six months. This ordinance will allow time for the Board to come into compliance with the GMHB and then review and adopt permanent changes to special use permits for new asphalt plants and mineral extraction, and maintain the status quo while work is under way on the new regulations.
