Oct 3,2014: The contractor will be paving the road Monday through Wednesday of next week (10/6/14 to 10/8/14). Long delays (15 to 30 minutes) should be expected and alternate routes are strongly advised. Residents who live within the project limits may be held for up to one hour for paving to cool.
Sept 19, 2014: The entire length of the project is now pulverized. The speed limit through the project has been lowered to 25 MPH
to reduce the probability of skidding, throwing gravel, and to keep the dust down. Please travel safely through our work zone and watch for workers
and equipment moving through the area.
Sept 16, 2014:The contractor worked on ditches, shoulders, and grading for most of
last week. The contractor will be working on culverts, pulverizing the existing road, and bringing up the road base for this week.
Aug 7, 2014: The contractor installed construction signs and started clearing and grubbing this week. Some traffic delays should be expected while trees are fallen.
