GPS BASE STATION & SECTION INFORMATION

The Survey Section provides horizontal and vertical control for county projects. This may include establishing preliminary design and construction data and field control staking.

The division supports and maintains a countywide geodetic control network, aerial photography and contour mapping.

Plats and Records of Survey Information
GPS data can be accessed at the Pierce County CORS Website.
RINEX data files can be downloaded for individual receiving stations
by following the RINEX DATA FILES link.

Current horizontal and vertical control is on www.geodata.org.
