What's New!

community together."

Nowhere within the Sheriff’s Office is the above vision statement more important than in the area of crime prevention and community outreach. Reducing crime, making neighborhoods safer, and in general improving the quality of life for all of our citizens can only be accomplished through partnerships and team efforts. That is where you can help.  Rest assured that your Sheriff’s Office is committed to this concept.  By developing strategies that involve law enforcement and other criminal justice partners, social service agencies, non-profit organizations, our schools, faith based organizations, the business community, and most importantly, our citizens, we can truly make a difference.

I hope you will join with me in this critically important effort.

I believe neighborhoods are as strong and safe as their collective sense of community. Your Sheriff’s Office wants to be a part of those community efforts to make our county a safer and thereby better place to live and to raise a family. So please check out our crime prevention and community outreach ideas on this website and think about how you can become involved in making a difference in your neighborhood. Working together we can achieve great things!
