Concealed Pistol License Applications are accepted by our office 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, M-F excluding holidays. Processing time for both original and renewal applications is 30 days. It is recommended persons applying for a renewal license do so at least 30 days prior to expiration. CPL is valid for 5 (five) years.
Dates and Times for Processing CPL's:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9am to 3pm.
Tuesday and Thursday, 10am to 3pm.
Closed on all normal government holidays and weekends.
Requirements:
Resident of Thurston County or Out-of-State resident.
21 years of age or older at time of application.
United States Citizenship.
No felony convictions or prohibitive domestic violence convictions.
No pending trial, appeal or sentencing on a prohibitive charge.
No outstanding warrants for ANY charge, from ANY court.
No court order or injunction against possessing a firearm.
FEES: Cash or Local Check ( No credit of Debit cards)
All fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Payment is required at time of application.
Original CPL application: $52.50 or $53.50 with lamination
