New WARC hours
The Waste and Recovery Center no longer has extended summer hours. The WARC hours are weekdays 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
and weekends 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. all year.
Rainier Drop Box
The Rainier Drop Box is now open on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bring Your ID to the WARC
ID is now required when entering the Waste and Recovery
Center.

so that every day our community creates less waste.
The Solid Waste Program also operates the Waste and Recovery Center at
Hawks Prairie and drop box sites at Rainier and Rochester. All
locations offer recycling blue boxes.
The Solid Waste Program is part of the
Thurston County Public Works Department.
