New! August 2012 - Photo ID Check to Enter WARC
WARC staff are checking photo IDs when you enter. Starting Sept. 1, photo ID will be required to enter the WARC.

Thurston County Waste and Recovery Center
Location: 2418 Hogum Bay Road N.E. near Lacey (Google map)
New! The Waste and Recovery Center no longer has extended hours in the summer.
Hours (all year):
Monday to Friday - 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Location: Located at the Thurston County Waste and Recovery Center (see above)
Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday only, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Rates: HazoHouse is free for residents. Click here for items accepted. (Businesses pay a fee to use HazoHouse.)
The entire Waste and Recovery Center (including Yard Debris Site, Recycle Center and HazoHouse) and the drop box sites in Rainier and Rochester are closed on four holidays: New Year's Day, July 4, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The center is open on all other holidays. The drop boxes are open on other holidays, provided those holidays occur on one of the regular work days, as shown below.
