How to Sign Up for Compost Collection Service

Residential Service

 If you already have curbside yard waste service ...you're set to go. Just start adding food and food-soiled paper products into your cart, which is now called an "compost" cart. (Click here for instructions.) If you're not a yard waste customer, contact the hauling company that serves your area for information. If you live within the City of Olympia, click here.

Commercial Service (businesses, schools, offices, universities)

Compost collection service is offered countywide by LeMay Enterprises as a stand-alone service or as part of the company's Certified Green bundled recycling service. For more information call 486-8606. The City of Olympia offers compost collection to Olympia businesses. For more information, call 753-8340. (Click here for cart instructions.)

Food to Flowers Program (K-12 schools)
