| As Thurston County Treasurer, Robin Hunt, is
responsible for providing banking, investment and other cash management
services to the County and all local governments within the county
borders with the exception of the cities. She manages over $2 billion
in cash flow annually and oversees an investment portfolio of $400
million.
Robin Hunt is a licensed CPA who graduated from Central Washington
University with a degree in accounting. Robin began her work career as a
payroll accountant for a large corporation headquartered in Seattle. She
continued to work for the corporation as she completed her accounting
degree. Since then she has a diverse governmental work background which
includes: being controller for Washington State Department of Natural
Resources; being an executive policy analyst for Governor Gardner;
working for several years in Governor Gardner’s budget office dealing
with revenue, higher education and K-12 education issues; working for
the State Auditor performing state and local government audits in
Central and Eastern Washington and in Olympia.
Robin is a native Washingtonian who grew up in Seattle. She and her
husband live in Olympia. |
