Grand Mound Connection Fees -- Residential
Before
connecting to the Grand Mound Water and Sewer System, property owners must
first submit plans and pay plan check and inspection fees.

Connection Fees for the Grand Mound Water and Sewer System (2011)
All residential property owners who apply to connect to the Grand Mound
Water-Sewer System, pay the following connection fees.
- Water connection: $2,089
- Sewer connection: $2,404
Additional Fees for Properties That Lie Outside the Utility Local
Improvement District Boundaries (2011)
Water and
sewer service is also available to properties located outside the
ULID boundaries, but within the broader Urban Growth Area
boundaries. These properties are charged the connection fees
above, as well as additional charges to account for their share of
financing the water and sewer system. (Property owners within the
ULID have already paid assessments to build the system.)
- Charge
for additional water capacity needed to support the property: $327
- Charge
for additional sewer capacity needed to support the property: $1,142
- Water and
sewer extension charges. (These charges are based on the potential value of the property
once water and sewer service are provided, and on the property's
