Kim Reykdal

As a former teacher, current school counselor, and parent of two elementary age children, I have a deep understanding of, and passion for, our public education system. For almost sixteen years, I have guided hundreds of students through their high school careers and helped them build a pathway to a happy and productive adulthood. It has been a privilege to bring to the Tumwater School Board the perspectives of educator and parent, and I will continue to do so in my next term.

As the funding for our K-12 system increases in the coming years, we must work together to be wise stewards of our resources while maximizing opportunities and services for our students and staff. Increasing student achievement must always be our top priority. I would be honored to have your support so together we can help Tumwater School District remain a leader in educational quality in Washington State.

Ballots available beginning October 14, 2015.
